The glass dome is the Sage Music Hall and that silly little bridge is known as the “blinking eye” Millenium Bridge and the giant bridge is the Tyne Bridge.
I think this is a rather appropriate set up for watching Apple Inc launch new products whilst in the United Kingdom.

We made it to San Jose! We are staying with a friend of a friend of Chad’s. We had some interesting experiences getting to this city. Also, it was confusing to get to the house because the British lady on the GPS would not tell us where to turn in time.
Anyway, it was a great adventure filled with good times and challenging times. Interesting people, and little animals. We visited so much of this country, and found the more we saw, the more we realized how small we are in it. We drove over some of the highest peaks and through barren deserts. Watched the sun crest over the Grand Canyon and stood next to 2000 year old Giant Sequoia’s. We felt the freedom of the open road and the pain of a poorly made breakfast burrito. We learned that it is not so important to see it all, but more important to enjoy the experiences as they come.
It has been a fantastic traveling experience for us, and we are happy to have shared it with you.
I wish this was the view from my office every day. I think that is one of the few things I’ll miss of London.

Twelve Hours of Flying
SItting next to a man in cycling pants that doesn’t speak or smile for 10 hours, not cool.
Getting to watch 500 Days of Summer, District 9 and Bjork Live in Paris, very cool.
I was happy to get out and stretch my legs, economy is a bit cramped for a tall guy.
Customs went swimmingly well, way more enjoyable of an experience than on my trip to Canada.
Coach, Prada, Gucci, Tiffany, Bvlgari… Heathrow airport has extremely expensive taste as well as a really sexy and polite overhead communication system.
I’ll be excited to make friends with a local in this new land.
Poutine. Fries with cheese curd and brown gravy - a Canadian dish that is surprisingly good!
The adventure never really ended, I’m not sure why this blog had to. Hence, I am bringing it back to life - starting tomorrow.
I’ll be heading to Canada tomorrow to enjoy my thanksgiving festivites, even though they have already honored their Thanksgiving.
I’m looking forward to new adventures and life experiences.
